Buddy Bench Program – In Partnership with Patrick’s Purpose Foundation

The Exchange Club of Newport Harbor, in collaboration with Patrick’s Purpose Foundation, is proud to bring the Buddy Bench Program to local schools.

The Buddy Bench is more than just a seat on the playground—it’s a symbol of kindness, inclusion, and friendship. When a child feels lonely or in need of a friend, they can sit on the bench, signaling to others that they’d like someone to talk to or play with. It’s a simple but powerful way to encourage compassion, reduce isolation, and build stronger connections among students.

Through this partnership, the Exchange Club and Patrick’s Purpose Foundation are helping create welcoming school environments where every student feels seen, valued, and supported.

Together, we’re fostering a culture of kindness—one bench, one friend, one act of inclusion at a time.
